What It Is

#3: erena - 22 July, 2009 - 12:59

This tool is wonderful because it allows us to send the contents and ideas generated during a  brainstorming or a group discussion to an email or even, to our blog

Target User

#4: erena - 22 July, 2009 - 12:59

All kind of people but it is special for teachers who mantain a blog because they can post directly from Second Life notes, landmarks, etc. It is possible to write in the local chat the text you want to add or to add a notecard into the tool and post the notecard.

What It Does

#5: erena - 22 July, 2009 - 12:59

This tool sends emails from Second Life, allows to publish posts in our blog directly from Second Life.

How It Works

#6: erena - 22 July, 2009 - 12:59

We can set in our blogger the option that allows to publish emails. Then, we rezz the tool. We touch it and we set our blog adress and our email. There will be a blue menu displayed that will help us during the process

Experience of Tool

#11: erena - 31 July, 2009 - 23:14

we worked out that by using local chat (normal format - starting chat with/1) after touching the tool and browsing through the menu presented on screen, the tool can be set to link directly to the owner's blog (add URL) and that blog entries can be emailed to the user's blog (provided the blog is set up to receive emailed entries - so if planning to use this, please ensure the email address is identical on both the inworld tool and the set up of the blog on the internet).  All of this PLUS notecards containing blog entries can be droppped into the tool by the owner...but I am going to need to play with this a bit to check how it works.

Very easy to use, it's great the way it makes SL content visible in the Real World and it reminds a bit to TwitterBox.
